Climate Change is a change of weather patterns over time. Change in the statistical distribution of the weather patterns over periods range from decades to millions of years. Scientist actively work to understand past and future climate by using observations. Climate change is caused by factors that include oceanic processes. Some causes of climate change are the rate at which energy is received and ocean currents and other mechanisms. Some things that affect climate change are plate tectonics, solar output, and human influences. Plate tectonics affect it because the motion of tectonic plates generates topography and that can affect the patterns of climate. Solar output affects it because the sun is what gives us our energy and that affects the global climate. Human influences affect it because anthropogenic( caused or produced by humans) factors are human activities which affect climate.
